Faculty & Staff

The Gator Experience Record would not be possible without the support of University of Florida Faculty and Staff. Faculty and staff leading curricular and co-curricular activities are vital to the creation of the Gator Experience Record. Importantly, faculty and staff support the verification and validation process that ensures the Gator Experience Record documents official, UF-recognized experiences.

The Gator Experience Record Launch Phases

The Gator Experience Record will launch in phases based on readily available unique student data. In order for an experience to be documented on the Gator Experience Record, a unique student identifier (i.e. UF ID number) is needed.

After Phase I is launched in Spring 2026, additional campus partners will have the opportunity to have their verified and validated experiential learning opportunities added to the Gator Experience Record.

Curricular Experiential Learning Data

Experiential learning offerings associated with a curricular course are added to the Gator Experience Record through the Experience Learning Course Attributes selected by course schedulers.

For the second release of the record, colleges and departments will have the opportunity to enhance the curricular data reported on the Gator Experience Record. This process allows units to add additional details about experiential learning offerings, such as clock hours, community partner sites, organizations or employers, student position titles, and more.

If you would like to enhance the data for your course or program using information you have already collected, please schedule a 30-minute call to review how to share your data using this booking link.

For those interested in utilizing university-sponsored technology to track additional details related to curricular experiential learning offerings in upcoming terms, please submit this interest form and a member of our team will be in contact to support.

Co-Curricular Data

Co-curricular experiential learning offering data can be collected using university-sponsored technology platforms that assist with the collection, verification, and validation of student engagement data. To learn more about these platforms, please submit this interest form, and a member of our team will follow up to provide support.

Units that already have a process for verifying and validating experiential learning data may continue using their own technology systems, as long as they capture unique student identifiers (e.g., UF ID number). To have your experiential learning offerings included in the next phase of the Gator Experience Record, please schedule a 30-minute consultation using this booking link to meet with a member of our team. During this meeting, we will review how to accurately share your existing experiential learning data and ensure the most appropriate experiential learning categories are selected for your offerings.
