Gator Experience Record

The Gator Experience Record
Bringing the University of Florida experience to life
The Gator Experience Record (GER) is the University of Florida’s official comprehensive learner record, capturing the full scope of a student’s experience across academic and co-curricular engagement.
From internships and research to leadership, service, and global experiences, the GER brings together validated involvement from across the university to create a more complete view of each student’s journey.

TRANSFORMING HOW STUDENT LEARNING IS RECOGNIZED
Through the Gator Experience Record, the University of Florida is transforming how student learning is captured and communicated.
A DISTINCTIVE UF APPROACH
The University of Florida is the largest institution to implement a university wide comprehensive learner record, and the first in the state to recognize student learning in this way.
A MORE COMPLETE VIEW OF THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
At the University of Florida, learning happens everywhere—not just in the classroom. The Gator Experience Record captures learning by organizing student involvement across key experiential learning categories.
Rather than relying solely on a transcript, the GER documents how students engage in opportunities such as:
- Internships and work-based learning
- Research and project-based experiences
- Leadership and student organizations
- Service and community engagement
- Global and study abroad experiences
By bringing these experiences together in one place, the GER helps students better understand and communicate the full scope of their time at UF.

Bringing the University of Florida experience to life!
The Gator Experience Record could not be possible without university-wide support from colleges, divisions, and departments. Thank you to our partners who have worked to ensure their experiences are included on the Gator Experience Record!
